Botanical Interpretive Signage, Facebook Building 20

I worked with Facebook's Analog Research Lab to create this series of botanical illustrations to identify the greenery on the living rooftop of Building 20 (MPK20) at Facebook's Menlo Park campus.

The building, designed by Frank Gehry, features a nine-acre Green Roof with a half mile loop path through the garden. The illustrated plaques are mounted and installed near their corresponding specimens, many repeating in multiple locations around the landscaped terrace.

The final designs were burned into blocks of Western Red Cedar and oiled for protection from the elements. This is an ongoing series, currently covering 18 plants that thrive in this climate.
