Spring Flower Painting Workshop - postponed

In this workshop, we will paint from cut flower bouquets using watercolor inks. Through a series of simple techniques for seeing and mark making, we will work toward rendering a complete floral composition on watercolor paper. By making intentional marks with brush and water, then adding colored inks with an eyedropper, our goal will be to observe how the media behaves so that we may embrace and utilize its unpredictable nature. Flowers themselves are vibrant and expressive and we will try to capture that with this technique. A series of exercises will lead into a fully realized painting on textured cotton watercolor paper.
Cost: $30 per person fee due at sign-up

3hrs. class 1:00-4:00 PM. To register please call or stop by the library. (609)259-7565
$5 materials fee per person goes toward use of the brushes and inks, paper, and flowers.
